We have had enough interest that I will be presenting the projects to the board at our February 6th Board Meeting for the board to pick the two that we will make application for.

THE DEADLINE TO LET US KNOW IF YOU WANT TO APPLY IS FRIDAY JANUARY 31, 2025, WHICH WILL GIVE US 7 WEEKS TO COMPLETE THE APPLICATIONS FOR THE TWO BUSINESSES, WHICH WILL BE THE ONES THAT SCORE THE HIGHEST ON THE LOCAL MATRIX IF MORE THAN TWO BUSINESSES WANT TO APPLY

We are only allowed to submit 2 applications, and of that only 1 will be funded.

Scoring Criteria and Weight  Applicant  Total 10pts is possible

2pts -Business industry aligns with the Community’s Transformation Strategy: Local Foods/Arts/Entertainment

2pts -The business actively participates and is open during downtown events

1pts-Clarity and completeness of project scope documentation, including cost estimates and budget

1pts-Vacant or underutilized space will be activated

1pts-Private investment by the selected business

1pts-Impact Match on Main funds will have on the selected business

1pts-Additional resources leveraged to support the business and/or proposed project

1pts-Number of Jobs that will be created or retained
