It’s almost time for the 12th Annual HUNTER ICE FESTIVAL in beautiful Downtown NILES, MI.  Below is a schedule of events—there might be more added, and times for things like Ice Fights and putting ice out are close guestimates.

If you have any questions, give us a call or email and we’ll be happy to answer.  We’ll have plenty going on in town starting with the Frigid 5k this coming Saturday 9am.  Ice arrives Monday January 18th, and then carving will begin.

The team we have here this year is the same from last—in-between they placed 2nd in the WORLD ICE ART Competition in Alaska last March.  CBS Sunday Morning did a spot on that competition, so here is a link to that spot.  Buddy Rasmussen & Reverend Butter are interviewed and talk & Carve and at 6:42, the team gets awarded their 2nd Place medal.
