Hunter Ice Cream ‘every bite, a delight’ Along with harvesting ice from Barron Lake, the Hunter Company also made Ice Cream. Hunter Ice Cream was noted for its purity and in 1914 the company could produce 400-500 gallons per day, any flavor, and the ice cream could be molded into various shapes.

This year Hunter Ice Cream is $1 per scoop or $15 for pre-packaged 48oz tubs during the festival.  The Ice Cream booth is located on the 100 block on South Side of Main Street.  Pre-order your 48oz tubs in advance for $12 each by dropping off or mailing a check to Niles Main Street/333 Second St, Niles MI 49120 or via PayPal at  Scroll down to the bottom to contribute a different amount and make note on the order that it is for Ice Cream :)
